Founder & Lead Planner
Hi! I am Haley, the Founder and Lead Planner for Tying the Knot Raleigh. I began in the wedding industry six years ago in bartending and catering. I then interned under another local wedding planner and in May of 2023, decided to start my own business. I am a certified wedding planner as of July 2023 and am currently in college earning my Bachelors in Business Administration.
For the past seven years I have been an Administrative Assistant for various companies. These expertises allowed me to understand the logistics of a company and to understand the importance of client relationships.
I am a southern girl through and through and I love a rustic wedding. My husband and I got married in March of 2023 and even though we eloped, I would be lying if I said I did not plan an elaborate barn wedding in my head.
I am a Raleigh native, a dog mom of two, a bunny mom, a wife, and an avid baker and gardener.

Hello, I’m Amber, Co-owner and Associate Planner for Tying the Knot Raleigh. With 8 years in professional customer service, I am here to ensure your day runs seamlessly while being filled with joy and lasting experiences. My journey to wedding planning unexpectedly unfolded, and I’ve dedicated myself wholeheartedly ever since. Currently pursuing my Wedding Planner Certification through Lovegevity University, I’m eager to enhance my expertise and look forward to growing our brand through kindness and meaningful connections.
My approach to wedding planning is a blend of creativity and aesthetics, aiming to infuse every celebration with a touch of magic and memories. Witnessing our couples’ happiness amidst challenges makes the hard work worthwhile. Outside work, you’ll find me with my partner James, exploring Umstead Park or immersed in a good book. Creatively expressing myself through watercolor painting, crocheting, and baking brings me joy! I’m currently enthralled with the 5th book of A Court of Thornes and Roses and love reading with my kitty Salem by my side!

Hello! I'm Laney, Assistant Wedding Planner at Tying The Knot Raleigh. As a romantic and audacious individual, I bring an innovative outlook and growth mindset to elevate all aspects of the company and ensure a seamless and unique experience for our clients. My creative passions have always been pursued alongside my main career aspirations. I ventured into the restaurant industry and various retail roles. My creative aspirations led me to my first year at Appalachian State where I began as an interior design major. Long story short, I changed majors and graduated in May of 2023 with my Bachelors of Business Administration majoring in General Marketing. During that time I participated in a co-ed business fraternity known as Pi Sigma Epsilon and a post grad internship with Greek House, a custom apparel company. I had tons of fun designing custom graphics for various products and grew my skill set in marketing and sales.
